Pricing · Updated October 2026
No local competitor publishes a complete Berks price table — so here is the honest version: typical ranges from published local sources, what they include, and exactly what moves a quote. Your exact flat price is confirmed on your call before anything is booked.

*Typical ranges compiled from published Berks County / national sources (Oct 2026), shown as estimates. Your exact flat quote — with included tons, included days, overage and extra-day terms stated up front — is confirmed on your call before anything is booked.
Published Berks figures genuinely spread that wide (one Reading operator starts at $395 flat; a national broker's Reading page averages $715). The difference is almost never the box — it's what's inside the number:
Every quote includes a weight allowance. Over it, overage is charged per ton. A low quote with 1 ton included can cost more than a higher quote with 3.
Standard rental periods run about 7 days, with 3- and 14-day variants. Extra days are a per-day fee — ask for it before you book, not after.
Concrete, dirt and shingles are heavy and priced differently from household debris. Mixing them quietly is how surprise bills happen.
Far-edge-of-county deliveries and street placements that need a permit can add cost. Driveway placement in most of Berks needs no permit.
| Project | Usual size | Watch out for |
|---|---|---|
| Bathroom remodel | 10–15 yd | Tile and cast-iron tubs add weight fast |
| Kitchen remodel | 15–20 yd | Plaster-and-lath in older Reading homes |
| Roof tear-off (20 squares, 1 layer) | 20 yd | Second layer ≈ double the weight |
| Whole-home cleanout | 20–30 yd | Furniture volume, not weight |
| Concrete pad / driveway removal | 10 yd dedicated | Weight ceiling — load shallow and even |
Last updated October 2026. Ranges are estimates compiled from published sources; they are not a quote. Your quote states size, price, included tons, included days, overage and extra-day terms before you commit.
Two quotes for the same box can be $200 apart and both be honest — or the cheaper one can cost more by Friday. Quotes are only comparable when they state the same four things: the size, the tons included, the days included, and the rates for going over either. If a quote won't state them, that silence is the answer: the missing numbers are where the profit is.
Ask three questions before you book anyone, us included. How many tons are included, and what's the per-ton overage? How many days, and what's an extra day? Is disposal inside the price or billed after the weigh-in? A company that answers all three in one breath is a company whose final bill won't surprise you.
The truck, the boards under the container, placement where you point — within what the truck can safely reach — pickup on schedule, and a swept area when the box leaves.
Your included tonnage is disposed of inside the flat price. Go over and it's the per-ton rate from your quote — weighed, documented, no mystery fees.
About seven days is the local standard, with shorter and longer periods arranged up front. Extra days are the per-day rate you agreed to, not a surprise line item.
Right-size the box. One step up beats a second haul, but paying for air helps no one — describe the job honestly and take the sizing advice. Keep heavy debris honest: concrete, dirt and shingles price by weight, and mixing them quietly into a household load is how overage happens. Load evenly and level: a box filled above the rail can't legally travel and gets re-handled at your cost. Book the days you'll actually use: extensions are cheap when arranged in advance, expensive when the truck arrives at a full box nobody mentioned.
One cost that isn't ours: if your container must sit on a public street in Reading, the City permit is obtained through Public Works — driveway placement needs no permit at all. We'll flag it on the call if your placement needs one, and the 48-hour application window is worth planning around.
Rentals aren't priced by the day — they're a flat price for a period, about seven days standard, with a per-day rate for extra days. The per-day maths only matters if you keep the box longer than planned.
Almost always the included tons and days. A $395 headline with one ton and three days included can finish higher than a $600 quote with three tons and a week. Compare the included numbers, not the headline.
In our quotes, yes — delivery, placement on boards, pickup and disposal up to your included tons are inside the flat price stated before you book.
Overage is charged per ton at the rate in your quote, based on the certified scale weight. Heavy debris — concrete runs about two tons a cubic yard — is how overage happens; ask us to sanity-check your load before you fill.
We don't sell permits. If your placement needs a City of Reading street permit, it's obtained from Public Works with proof of insurance, at least 48 hours ahead; driveway placement needs no permit at all.
Quotes take two minutes: job, town, debris, date. That's all we need.
